 Third Grade Float Parade!

We had such excitement this month with our third graders! In library class, students learned about Tony Sarg—the engineer and puppeteer who created the very first Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons—and practiced using Dash robots so they could drive them confidently. In art class, students chose a character, planned their design, and created their own balloon-style floats.

Today, we brought it all together! Students attached their handmade floats to the Dash bots and drove them down our parade route. It was a joyful, creative, and memorable experience for everyone involved.
