Kindergarten Green Meadows Farm In School Filed Trip

On Wednesday March 18th, Parliament Place Elementary’s Kindergarten and First grade students were treated to a visit from Farmer Jason of Green Meadows Farm.  He provided a hands-on interactive program that featured tree frogs, insects, reptiles, chickens, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs and even a chinchilla. The children learned interesting facts about each animal’s characteristics and habitat. They even were given the opportunity to safely touch and feed some animals in unique petting bins. There was fun farm music, dancing, singing, lots of laughter and fun with even a visit from a friendly cow puppet!! It was a great time!!
