Second Grade Sea Explorers

Second graders at Parliament Place became sea explorers and interacted with shellfish, hermit crabs, snails, and the horseshoe crab! Students learned how these marine animals protect themselves and where they can be found on Long Island. It was a great introduction to our science unit, Animal Habitats and Life Cycles.
